Safeguarding Assurance
At MINDRELIEF365, we play a vital role in delivering tele video services to individuals with dementia and their caregivers. Learn more about how we prioritise safeguarding within our organization.
MINDRELIEF365 employees frequently interact with adults who may be vulnerable and with children and/or young people who may be present in the services we provide. We are deeply committed to safeguarding the well-being of all service users, employees, associates, and volunteers involved in or impacted by our work. Regardless of age, disability, gender, racial heritage, religious belief, sexual orientation, or identity, every individual has the right to equal protection from harm or abuse and the right to be treated with respect and dignity.
We ensure that all relevant individuals:
- Are DBS Checked or have obtained a Police Clearance Certificate
- Receive appropriate levels of training, either individually or in groups, and have access to learning materials on safeguarding adults and children.
- Know how to respond and where to seek advice and assistance, particularly in emergencies.
- Understand the importance of balancing choice and control with safety and are aware of their personal responsibility.
- Are informed about the various types of abuse and neglect that may occur or persist.
- Are supported in staying safe.
- Know who to report suspected abuse or neglect to.
We promote safeguarding as everyone’s responsibility and ensure that appropriate protocols are followed. Rest assured, we thoroughly vet and train our staff to the highest standards, equipping them to recognize and address safeguarding concerns effectively. All employees and related individuals have a duty to prevent the abuse of children and adults and are required to report any safeguarding concerns to their department head.
